Manhattan
Standing quietly yet proud in the sand section of Manhattan Beach, this 5,500 SF home, designed by Montalba Architects, skillfully integrates a distinctive program spanning three levels on a narrow site. Highlights include a living green wall overlooking a lap pool on the third floor terrace, a second-floor show garage and screened courtyard featuring a Japanese maple tree and fountain that are privately viewed from the primary bathroom and home office, and a spacious gym on the first floor. This tranquil and elegantly designed residence harmoniously blends interconnected spaces, abundant natural light, and refined materials such as Belgian Bluestone, acid-blasted travertine, vertical grain white oak, western red cedar, and board-formed concrete, creating a serene oasis amidst the neighboring bustling beach landscape.
